Should entertainers like Janet Jackson get tested for steroids like athletes have to?
caligrl asked:
Why the double standard? What about Mary J. Blige and Ashanti and many more who obviously use steriods?
They’re competing against other singers to sell the most cds.
I know there aren’t rules against it in the music industry and in fact it is very much encouraged so the label makes more money. That’s why my question says “SHOULD?”

because they’re not in a competition. Athletes are only tested because it affects their performance in competitions, so no entertainer’s shouldn’t be tested because that would be a violation of their privacy

steroids don’t help them to sing better… so no they have no reason to be tested for steroids.
